Ropak Concrete Construction & Landscaping is a locally owned and operated company in Calgary, Alberta. Owner, Ron Fokkens, has been pouring, placing and finishing concrete for over 35 years! He brings the best of concrete form work and rugged, natural, native landscaping to Calgary!

Ron was born in the Netherlands and emigrated at two years of age to Australia. There he completed his Bachelors in Civil Engineering at RMIT in Melbourne. After seizing the moment in an opportunity to move to Canada, he made Calgary is home. While living in Calgary, he left the 'office life' and started working outdoors where he loves to be the most! Ron is an Alberta Certified Trades Journeyman in Concrete Finishing. For the past 35 years he has been designing, consulting, and constructing civil projects in commercial, industrial, and residential development in Calgary and surrouding areas of Southern Alberta. His extensive experience includes: concrete foundations for airports, schools, hotels, areans, water/splash parks, warehouses, and custom high end homes. As well as pads, slabs, floors, footings, retaining walls, sidewalks, driveways, and stairs. Ron KNOWS his CONCRETE!!
